Runf is a running app with a pixel pet that grows as you run. These are the terms you agree to by using it.
Runf uses Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for the Apple ID you sign in with; keep it to yourself. One account is meant for one person.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Everything attached to it goes with it, permanently.
Runf measures runs and turns them into a game. It is not a medical device and it is not a coach. Distance, pace and heart rate are estimates from your phone, your watch, or whatever app you imported the run from, and they carry the errors those instruments carry.
Nothing in Runf is medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting or changing how you exercise, and stop if something hurts.
Watch where you are going. Do not use the app while crossing roads, and do not let a pixel animal or a pace figure take your attention off the traffic, the ground, or the weather. You run at your own risk.
Coins are earned by running and by checking in. They exist only inside Runf: they cannot be bought, sold, exchanged for money, or moved to another account, and they have no value outside the app.
We may change what things cost, how much running earns, or how the game works. If a change would take away something you have already earned, we will say so in the app first.
Please do not fake runs, tamper with the app or its data to award yourself coins or distance, or try to reach other people's accounts. Any of those can cost you your account.
Your runs, routes and pets are yours. We store them so we can give them back to you, and we do not claim any ownership of them. What we ask for is only the permission needed to do that: to hold your data and to show it back to you in the app.
The app itself, its artwork and its code remain ours.
Runf records your runs on your phone first, so a run keeps recording with no signal. The account side may still be unavailable at times, and we cannot promise it is never down. We do not promise the app is free of faults, and it is provided as it is.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from using Runf — including lost run data, however it was lost. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using Runf and delete your account whenever you like. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why unless we are prevented from doing so.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them, and the app will tell you before the change takes effect. Carrying on using Runf after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of GOVERNING JURISDICTION, and any dispute will be heard there.
